NCIS HAWAII will premiere in just a few weeks, and there are already rumors of a crossover with the recently canceled NOLA.

NCIS Hawaii will be the third spin-off from the NCIS franchise. The latest CBS crime drama, Agent Jane Tennant, will be set on the beautiful island state and will star actress and presenter Vanessa Lachey in the lead role. She will be the franchise’s first leading female agent, making NCIS Hawaii a must-see.

Will there be a crossover with NCIS New Orleans?

Earlier this year, CBS announced the exciting news that another spin-off, NCIS Hawaii, was in the works.

However, it was soon revealed that NCIS New Orleans would be cancelled.

NCIS NOLA has always had lower viewing figures than NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles, which could be one of the reasons for the decision.

Series seven of the Dwayne Pride (played by Scott Bakula)-led show concluded on Sunday, May 23.

In the case of producers Jan Nash and Christopher Silber, one door closes and another opens.

They were both part of the NCIS NOLA team, but are now hard at work on the upcoming spin-off series.

Will the producers want to see some of the characters from the New Orleans-set series return for a crossover episode?

Silber hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Pride and the team appearing in Hawaii.

Nash and Silber explained to TV Line how they had some storylines planned for what is now the canceled eighth season of NOLA.

When Silber was then asked about an NCIS Hawaii crossover with the cancelled cr1me drama, he teased: “Never say never.

“I’ll be completely honest with you. We welcome all crossovers. It’s entertaining.”

There have been numerous crossovers between the shows over the years.

The most recent NCIS crossover occurred when Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) from the original drama appeared in NOLA’s season five premiere episode See You Soon to speak with Pride.

Agents from NCIS Los Angeles appeared in Hawaii Five-0, another CBS show.

“I was fortunate enough to be involved in the NOLA and mothership crossovers the couple of times we did it,” Silber added.

“I know the shows enjoy it, the writers enjoy it, the actors enjoy it, and the audiences enjoy it.”

NCIS Hawaii will premiere on CBS in a few weeks, and fans are eager to see what happens.

The team will be introduced via a backdoor pilot on NCIS on the same day as its first stand-alone episode.

Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson, Noah Mills, and Yasmine Al-bustami will appear alongside Lachey.
