After her final episode of the CBS hit series NCIS, Pauley Perrette recorded a video message thanking NCIS fans for their support.
NCIS fans, Pauley Perrette and Abby Sciuto have a message for you.
After 15 years on the hit CBS drama, Perrette made her final appearance as the fan-favorite forensic scientist, and NCIS’s Twitter account posted a video message for Abby’s fans following the emotional episode. It will almost certainly make your eyes water.
“I hope the fans remember everything Abby has taught all of us throughout this entire run,” Perrette says in the video. “I’ve learned from my fans how much they love and support me. Fans of Abby are incredible; they truly are the best. I can’t think of a better fan club than that.”
She goes on, “They truly make me happy. My fans are funny, smart, kind, and caring, and they have been extremely supportive. Not only of Abby, but also of me, Pauley, on the show. I adore them. I’m proud of Abby’s fan base because it’s an incredible group of people.”
Perrette’s final episode drew the highest ratings for NCIS in over a year, with 14.8 million viewers tuning in and a 1.6 demo rating.
Perrette, 49, concludes the video with a message to her fans, telling them how much she adores them and how grateful she is for their support over the last 15 years.
“I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of the fans all over the world. I can’t thank you enough for all of your help with Abby and me over the years. And just to keep in mind, everything Abby has given us is with me. As well as everything she’s taught us. I cannot express how grateful I am to you. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have fans like you, and your support means everything to me. Thank you very much.”
