NCIS fans uncovered a blunder from season two that occurred during an interrogation conducted by Gibbs.

NCIS, CBS’ critically acclaimed drama, has announced the release date for its upcoming 20th season. While fans wait for its release, a keen observer discovered a glaring continuity error in season two.

NCIS followed the professional lives of a group of agents as they collaborated to solve high-profile naval cr1m1nal cases.

The team led by Special Agent Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) was called in to investigate the mysterious d3ath of a marine during the season two episode titled ‘Caught on Tape.’

Sergeant William Moore (Kevin Sizemore) is said to have slipped and fallen from a cliff after filming the sunrise.

The case took a dark turn when Moore’s wife and best friend, who were also on the camping trip, were questioned about his d3ath.

An observant fan noticed the blunder during the interrogation of the v1ctim’s best friend David Runion (Tim De Zam).

The viewer took to the movie mistakes forum to point out a continuity error that the showrunners may have overlooked.

“When the SGT is in the interrogation room, as Gibbs sits down, the SGT’s hands are on the table,” they wrote.

“Camera cuts to Gibbs sitting down, but look in the mirror behind him, and the Sergeant’s hands are not on the table in the reflection.”

Although the repositioning of the arms appears to be a minor continuity flaw, it highlights the lack of consistency from scene to scene.

As a result, the viewer was likely pulled out of the show as they rewatched the scene to confirm the error.

Despite this, one of the most common blunders discovered on-screen after post-production is a continuity error.

However, it took a keen observer to notice the Sergeant’s arms moving from one scene to the next.

Other fans were not distracted by the error because they were engrossed in the story and wanted to know who k1lled Moore.

As the episode progressed, Runion’s violent past was revealed, and it was revealed that he served time for assault and battery after nearly k1ll1ng a man with a pool cue in 1993.

Although Runion and Moore’s wife Judy (Marieh Delfino) had maintained their stories, Gibbs’ decision to question them both in the same room exposed the flaws in their stories.

Including the news that Judy is pregnant with Runion’s child.

Moore had been filming the sunset before his d3ath, so the team was able to locate the camera and retrieve the footage.

It was revealed that Runion k1lled the marine by knocking him out with a baseball bat.

Thankfully, fans will be able to see the team reassemble and solve complex cr1m1nal cases when season five premieres later this year.
