Raise your glass! Wilmer Valderrama, 39, proposed to his model girlfriend Amanda Pacheco, 28, with a stunning pear-shaped engagement ring on January 1, 2020 — and she said yes!
On Thursday, January 2, the couple informed their Instagram followers of the exciting news by posting the same photo with matching captions. Valderrama proposed to his now-fiancee on one knee in front of a picturesque backdrop of the ocean in La Jolla, San Diego. “It’s just us now” 01-01-2020, the couple captioned their photos.
Pacheco shared a second photo of the massive stone, which is set on a stunning diamond band. In the photo, the model also wore the ideal complementing piece of jewelry: an open cuff bracelet by By Chari, an L.A.-based jewelry brand.
Pacheco wore a short blue floral dress for the occasion, while Valderrama looked dapper in a light sweater, dark pants, and boots. Because she is also a divemaster, the model is likely to find the proposal location extra special. “I belong deep in the sea or high in the trees where things are wild and free,” she says in her Instagram bio.
The actor began dating Pacheco in May, when a source told Us that the two were “casually dating.” They were first seen together in Los Angeles, not long after starting to follow each other on Instagram.
Valderrama had previously been linked to Demi Lovato. After six years of dating, the couple announced their breakup in 2016.
