Emily Wickersham amassed a legion of fans during her time on NCIS, but they may struggle to recognize her following a dramatic change in her appearance.

The 38-year-old, who played agent Ellie Bishop until her departure at the end of season 18, has been sporting blonde hair for years, but she recently changed up her look in favor of a dramatic new hue – and she looks completely different!

The actress took to Instagram to share several photos of herself with her newly dyed dark hair and new choppy bangs, and her fans were blown away by her transformation.

“Are brunettes more fun?” Emily captioned a picture of herself wearing a black suit and heavy eyeliner.

“Looks really good, exotic! You look nothing like the you I was used to seeing on NCIS…both very nice, though “One person responded.

“You look great with dark hair,” said a second. “LOVE the hair, it really suits you,” said a third.

Emily’s followers adore her dark hair transformation.

Emily has become a mother since leaving NCIS, and she delighted fans when she shared a stunning bikini-clad photo of her baby bump. On December 30, 2021, she and her partner, actor James Badge Dale, welcomed their first child, son Cassius.

Emily announced her departure from NCIS in May 2021 on Instagram, telling fans she was officially “hangin’ [her] hat and jacket up” after nearly a decade on the show.

Emily has had blonde hair for many years.
