‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Reintroduces Familiar Characters and Teases ‘All the Little Things’ Plot

NCIS: Los Angeles producers have revealed details about an episode that will likely reunite two lingering plotlines from season 13 and bring back several familiar faces.

It certainly sounds enticing. Let’s take a look at the CBS plot synopsis for the NCIS: Los Angeles episode “All the Little Things.” “When a newborn child is discovered abandoned on a Navy ship, Kensi and Deeks go in search of the mother before she d1es from complications.” Nate (Peter Cambor) also meets with Admiral Kilbride and learns about a CIA project involving children from the 1970s and 1980s.”

So, if you’re a fan of NCIS: Los Angeles, you’ll understand what I’m saying. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) long to have children. The show’s most recent new episode aired on January 9. In “A Land of Wolves,” Kensi and a young girl named Rosa were the only survivors of a group att4ck. A private militia kidnapped the two. At the end of the episode, Kensi and Deeks appeared to be on the verge of adopting a foster child, with hints that it could be Rosa. And now, in a March 13 episode, the two are looking for the dying mother of a newborn.

Callen’s Girlfriend and Another Russian Return to NCIS: Los Angeles

The plot synopsis then goes on to discuss the storyline involving Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Hetty (Linda Hunt). If you recall, the season 13 premiere revealed that Hetty was in charge of a CIA program that identified foster children and groomed them as spies. Callen was one of those youngsters.

The NCIS: Los Angeles episode also brings back several recurring characters. Bar Paly, who portrays Callen’s on-again/off-again girlfriend Anna, makes a return for the first time in season 13. So does Oleysa Rulin, who plays Zasha. She last was seen in the season 13 premiere.

There’s also the return of Nate Getz, played by Peter Cambor. He’s been with NCIS: Los Angeles since the show’s inception. But he hasn’t appeared on the show since March 2017, when he appeared in an episode titled “Old Tricks.” This will be the 37th episode of his career. Nate is a highly skilled psychologist and cr1m1nal profiler. He’s also called in to assess certain agents’ mental health.

NCIS: Los Angeles fans have been left in the cold for the past few months, with their show sitting on the CBS shelf for extended periods of time. From Thanksgiving to New Year’s, it took a holiday break. Then, due to the NFL playoffs, CBS had to pull NCIS: Los Angeles from its Sunday lineup. The show, like all the other CBS primetime mainstays, then went on hiatus during the Winter Olympics.

NCIS: Los Angeles, on the other hand, returns with new episodes on February 27.
