NCIS: Los Angeles: Kensi and Deeks Take the Next Step Towards Foster Parenthood

It appears that Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Investigator Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will be parents in NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13.

It’s been a long road for the couple, from talking about having children to arguing about having children to deciding to have children to struggling to conceive. They then looked into adoption and fostering, and it appeared that they met a young girl, Rosa (Natalia Del Riego), who could lead to the latter in “A Land of Wolves.”

Kensi guarded her during an undercover mission, admitting that “I want to be” a mother but “just haven’t been that lucky.” Rosa would then be processed at a federal intake facility and assigned to a case officer, but if no relatives in the United States could be found, she might need foster parents. “No matter what happens, we can’t let her go,” Kensi insisted. “She has nowhere to go and no one to look after her.” Deeks promised to keep an eye on things.

And now we know that they will “begin to prepare for their foster inspection” in the March 20 episode, “Murmuration,” according to the logline. (In terms of the case, the team is looking into an unidentified aircraft that enters US airspace and crashes into a Navy plane.)
