NCIS’ season 19 finale aired about a month ago, which means we’re getting closer to the show’s 20th season. So far, the network has not revealed the premiere date for the new season of NCIS. However, after some research, we’ve determined when the first all-new episode will air.

More than likely, we can expect NCIS to return in September; this has been the plan since the pilot’s inception in 2003. However, thanks to Web News Observer, we now have a better idea of when Season 20 might premiere in September.

Each new season of NCIS has aired between September 19th and September 28th, according to the outlet. The season premiere date for last year was September 20th. That means NCIS’s next new episode will most likely air on September 19th, rather than the later option of September 26th.

Regardless of when the new season premieres, we can expect NCIS to return to its regular timeslot following last year’s change. When the 2021-2022 season started, the cr1me show switched from Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. to Monday nights at 9 p.m.

NCIS: Hawai’i, the franchise’s newest spinoff, is also set to return with a new season, once again airing at 10 p.m. on Monday nights, immediately following its flagship show.

Fans of ‘NCIS’ believe Parker’s former boss is The Raven.

Before Alden Parker, the NCIS team’s leader, was framed for murd3r, they were on the trail of a cr1m1nal known as The Raven. However, as we watched the finale, it appears that the perpetrator may also be responsible for Parker’s framing. As we wait for the season 20 premiere, many NCIS fans believe they know who The Raven is, with many pointing to the former FBI agent’s former boss, Deputy Director Wayne Sweeney.

Sweeney works for the FBI, but if we find out he’s The Raven, it won’t be the first time in NCIS history that a federal law enforcement officer has gone rogue. Fans of the popular show took to Reddit to discuss their theories.

“I’m starting to suspect Sweeney is behind this whole thing,” one NCIS fan began. They cited the FBI deputy director’s rage at Parker for not arresting former Special Agent Gibbs in Alaska, as well as some outlandish remarks. “Some of his remarks (such as saying he ‘accidentally’ fired Parker for not arresting Gibbs, which is completely BS, and his’misspoken’ comments) sound pretty suspicious to me,” they explained.

Several other fans agreed with the assertion.

“I came here just to say this,” said another NCIS fan. “I’m betting on Sweeney being the Raven.” He has a history with Parker, control over Parker’s ex-wife, and a grudge against Parker.”

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until the end of September to find out when NCIS returns.
