Michael Weatherly shared a rare photo from inside his family’s home on social media, and fans went crazy.
The NCIS star, 54, posted a photo on Twitter of his daughter Olivia holding their dog Oliver, who was dressed as “Thing 1” from Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat.
The dog was posing on the floor in a bright blue wig with a large red bow in the photo.
The actor captioned the update with: “For Halloween, Oliver dressed up as Thing 1. I was a mix of ‘guy in sweatpants,’ ‘unemployed actor,’ and ‘Dad.’ Wonderful evening!”
The actor took to Twitter.
The hilarious update elicited a flood of responses from fans, who were quick to weigh in.
“So cute… hope he gets lots of good doggie treats and I’m sure he’s scarfing them down as we speak!!” wrote one fan.
A second was added: “Oh, how lovely!! I’m so glad you’re enjoying every aspect of your kids’ lives. If parents spent more time with their children, the world would be a much better place!! This is fantastic!”
Michael is a very proud father.
A third person responded: “The ideal father…no acting required…These are the loving and caring moments. You and your children will remember me forever.”
The actor is a devoted father to his two children, Olivia, ten, and Liam, nine, whom he shares with his wife, Bojana Jankovic. Michael also has a 26-year-old son named August, whom he shares with his ex-wife Amelia Heinle.
Last month, the father-of-two provided fans with a sweet glimpse into Liam’s life. He captioned a video on Instagram, “Thinking back on #knockknock jokes.” I believe my son is a cross between Samuel Beckett, @kanyewest, and @DrSeuss, and yes, I am aware that Samuel Beckett is the only one without a @verified handle.”
Michael was sitting in a café in the video, recounting a ‘knock knock’ joke from his youngest son. He finished the joke, adopting a dramatic tone, before asking, “Who’s there?” I’m not sure. I’m not sure who. I’m not sure who because you said I’m not sure who to. “Knock knock joke, Liam Weatherly.”
