After Michael Weatherly’s departure was announced, BULL’s Marissa Morgan took to social media to express her condolences.

Bull, the riveting legal drama that aired on CBS for six seasons, has officially concluded. After the series’ cancellation was confirmed, star Geneva Carr, who played Marissa Morgan, wrote a heartfelt farewell message to the cast and crew.

Marissa Morgan (played by Geneva Carr) first appeared on the screen in the pilot episode of Bull and was introduced to fans as Dr. Jason Bull’s second in command (Michael Weatherly).

Melissa was a high-ranking member of the Trial Analysis Corporation (TAC), and she was in charge of monitoring jury behavior and reactions in real time.

This was an important position at TAC because the company specialized in releasing their clients by using devious arguments to persuade the jurors.

Geneva, who worked closely with Michael, took to Instagram to send a farewell message to the cast and crew after the show was canceled on Wednesday.

The actress posted a trailer for the final season with the caption, “ImpossiBULL to put into words what this show, these people, this experience has meant.”

“It takes a committed team of professionals to create a (TV emoji) show, and we’ve been blessed with the absolute BEST.”

“On this journey, I’ve learned so much and met so many incredible people.” I am eternally grateful to each and every member of our brilliant team.

“And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who tuned in each week to join us on this journey.” We did everything for you.

Bull’s cancellation came as a surprise to fans who had hoped to hear that it had been renewed for a seventh season.

Viewers took over Geneva’s comments to express their sh0ck and well-wishes.

“So sad Bull is ending this season!” wrote Yayapavone. “I adore this show!!”

“I enjoyed the ride with you and the rest of the cast,” Elizabeth.p.barden added. What a fantastic cast of characters on Bull.”

While Addiesuraci said, “Say. That is not the case. You and the wonderBull are a match made in heaven. A fantastic group! “Awesome show!”

Bull has blown all other legal dramas out of the water with its impressive average ratings of 7.4 million viewers, which have remained consistent since its debut in 2016.

Despite the series’ enormous success, it was not without controversy, which was first reported in 2018.

Eliza Dushku, a former recurring cast member, received a $9.5 million settlement after accusing Weatherly of sexism and sexual harassment.

Then, in May 2021, showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron and star Freddy Rodriguez left the show following an investigation into inappropriate workplace behavior.

With the final season of the show set to begin this month, fans will soon learn how Jason and Marissa’s story will end.

After spending the entire episode arguing with Jason, there was a lot of speculation that she would be leaving TAC during episode 10.

This got so bad that she had a conversation with his wife to see if there was anything she could do to repair their marriage.

Although Bull is coming to an end, fans will have to wait to see if Marissa and Jason can work things out.

  1. I love BULL! It was a great show with a fabulous cast. I am so disgusted with CBS. I only watch 2 shows on CBS…and Blue Bloods is the other. I hope some CABLE channel will pick it up.
