Katrina Law, star of NCIS, has confirmed that she has just completed work on an exciting new project that was shot during the show’s 20th season hiatus.
Katrina Law is an American actress best known for her starring role as Special Agent Jessica Knight in CBS’s hit action drama. NCIS fans are currently awaiting the return of the popular action series for its 20th season, while Katrina confirmed on Instagram this week that she’s been using the time to work on an upcoming thriller film.
Steven C Miller has confirmed that he has completed filming on his latest project, which stars Katrina from NCIS.
The director shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the actress in combat gear in front of a fiery high street scene.
“That’s a wrap on the bada** @katrinalaw!” he wrote in the caption.
Katrina also shared the image on her Instagram Story to confirm the feature was complete.
Steven’s supernatural thriller Year 2, a horror film in which werewolves run amok in a small town, will star the NCIS regular.
She’ll be in the main cast alongside Lydia Styslinger and Frank Grillo from The Purge.
Steven has teased Katrina’s sword fighting scenes as well as Year 2’s practical werewolf effects throughout the film’s production.
Steven paid tribute to leading man Frank earlier this week, writing, “That’s a wrap on @frankgrillo1.”
“He was completely dedicated to his craft while also being gracious enough to let me do what I needed to do every day.”
“From start to finish, I was a total partner/pro. Couldn’t have asked for a better number one!”
Although a release date for Year 2 has not yet been set, fans are excited to see Katrina in another action-packed role.
“She’s the best!” said Instagram user @dillon schneider. “Outstanding talent.”
“Congratulations on finishing filming your scenes, @katrinalaw,” @laurennbaily added. “I can’t wait to see you shine in Year 2.”
Thankfully, Katrina’s Agent Knight will be back in action soon, as new episodes of NCIS will premiere on Monday, September 19.
It will be immediately followed by the premiere of the new season of NCIS: Hawaii.
However, viewers will have to wait a little longer for NCIS: Los Angeles, which will premiere on Sunday, October 9.
Katrina will not only be seen outside of NCIS in Year 2, but she has also completed work on a Frankenstein reimagining titled Alive.
She previously appeared in popular series such as Arrow, Hawaii Five-0, and The Oath before joining the team as Agent Knight.
Steven has also directed Escape Plan II, In the Line of Duty, and First K1ll.
