NCIS is one of the most popular cr1me shows on television today. If you miss Tony and Ziva, here are some episodes to watch again.

NCIS is one of the most popular cr1me shows on television today. It later expanded into a franchise that includes NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans.

We’ve all been hooked on the show since it first aired in 2003. In fact, we’ve ranked the show’s major characters by intelligence and assigned them to Hogwarts Houses.

Meanwhile, for the majority of the show’s run, fans have become obsessed with Tony Dinozzo and Ziva David’s characters. And if you’re missing them as much as we are, here are the best episodes to catch up on.

K1ll Ari, Parts 1 And 2

These season three episodes see the debut of actress Cote de Pablo as Ziva David, and the Mossad assassin has an early flirtation with Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo. In “K1ll Ari,” Ziva visits NCIS after learning that Agent Gibbs and his team are looking for Ari.

Ziva initially claims that her brother was on an undercover assignment. She was also certain that he would not murd3r anyone.

She eventually realizes, however, that her brother has become misguided. After Ari attempts to murd3r Gibbs, Ziva shoots her own brother.

Under Covers

In “Under Covers,” we see Tony and Ziva’s relationship progressing nicely. Ziva joins Gibbs’ team after she requests to be assigned as a liaison officer for NCIS. And in this episode, Tony and Ziva go undercover as married assassins plotting a hit at a Marine Corps ball.

The two agents appear convincing and amusing as they attempt to fake intimacy while keeping the mission on track. Things get dicey at one point, but the team pulls together to finish the job.

Judgement Day, Parts 1 And 2

The chemistry between Tony and Ziva has grown stronger than in the previous two seasons by the time the “Judgement Day” episodes air during the show’s fifth season. There’s a lot of clever banter and “Ziva-isms.” Tony and Ziva are assigned to accompany NCIS Director Jenny Shepard on a trip to Los Angeles that ends in her d3ath in these episodes. According to IMDb, “Judgement Day Part 2” is also one of the best NCIS episodes. Meanwhile, Lauren Holly, who played Jenny on the show, later revealed why she left.

Semper Fidelis

Tony meets Mossad agent Michael Rivkin for the first time in this episode from the sixth season. Things quickly become awkward when it is revealed that Ziva and Michael have been seeing each other. When Tony and Michael get into a fight in Ziva’s apartment after the senior NCIS agent tries to arrest the Mossad agent, the situation worsens. Sadly, Tony k1lls Michael in the process. Ziva arrived on the scene shortly after Tony fired his shots. Nobody knew what would happen to Tony and Ziva after this episode.

Aliyah

“Aliyah” concludes the sixth season of the show. It takes us to the events that occur following the events of “Semper Fidelis”. Following Michael’s d3ath, Tony, Ziva, Gibbs, and (then-relatively new) NCIS Director Leon Vance fly to Israel with his body. Tony is questioned upon arrival by the Mossad Director, who also happens to be Ziva’s father. Tony and Ziva are also involved in a heated debate. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Ziva did not board the plane back to the United States. She instead chose to remain with Mossad.

Truth Or Consequences

The first episode of NCIS’ seventh season is regarded as one of the top ten episodes of all time. The episode begins with Tony and fellow agent Timothy McGee being kidnapped. As it turns out, the entire thing was a ruse. Tony and McGee had gotten themselves arrested in order to rescue Ziva, who had been involved in a botched Mossad mission. Ziva is lawful neutral, according to the D&D moral alignments of NCIS characters, which implies she would have allowed herself to d1e in captivity to atone for her mistakes.

Extreme Prejudice

The events of “Extreme Prejudice” take place in the aftermath of a bombing inside NCIS’ own compound. During the first few minutes of the episode, we learn that Tony and Ziva both survived the blast.

However, after deciding to avoid the stairs, the two agents become trapped inside an elevator. The two have some lighthearted and flirty moments throughout the episode. According to the late Gary Glasberg, the show’s executive producer, the “Tony and Ziva of it all is a big part of the show.”

Shiva

Perhaps one of the reasons Tony and Ziva’s relationship is one that fans support is essentially this episode, which follows the events that led to Ziva’s father’s d3ath. As Tony comes to Ziva’s side in “Shiva,” it is clear how much Tony cares for her. Finally, the team is determined to find her father’s murd3rer (and they eventually do). When it came time for Ziva to accompany her father’s body back to Israel, Tony met her on the tarmac and whispered, “You are not alone,” in Hebrew.

Berlin

In “Berlin,” Tony and Ziva go undercover once more. This time, the goal is to apprehend the man responsible for Ziva’s father’s d3ath, as well as the director’s wife. This mission takes them to Berlin, where we see them perform a dance. It turned out that it was also one of de Pablo’s favorite scenes. “That scene was created by Michael and me,” the actress told Entertainment Weekly. “We felt the moment was very intimate, and we thought simply looking at each other would suffice.”

Past, Present, and Future

This episode was bittersweet for many Tony and Ziva fans because it was the final one that featured Tony and Ziva together. In the second episode of the 11th season, Tony does everything he can to find Ziva after the team learns that her life is in danger. The senior agent eventually finds her in Israel, where the two share some intimate moments that ‘Tiva’ fans enjoyed. Unfortunately, it was to be de Pablo’s final episode as a regular on the show. Having said that, the episode concluded with Tony and Ziva kissing in the airport.
