Over the course of 18 seasons, NCIS has developed a devoted fan base that isn’t afraid to voice their concerns on social media. With so many characters coming and going over the years, NCIS fans have spoken out on who they believe is the most obnoxious. And it’s not Pauley Perrette’s Abby Sciuto anymore.
Fans of ‘NCIS’ loved Abby before she became too irritating.
Abby Sciuto was one of the original NCIS characters, first appearing in the show’s JAG backdoor pilot in 2003. At first, the forensic scientist was a well-liked persona. However, as the series progressed, several viewers felt Abby got unpleasant.
“I’ve discovered that even during rewatches, I have to fast through through most situations with a focus on her,” one Reddit user commented. “Her character is juvenile and annoying, and I believe part of my problem is that the character is hauntingly similar to Pauley Perrette, whom I’ve also grown to loathe.”
“Least favorite: Abby,” another admirer said. Don’t get me wrong: she’s eccentric, and that’s fine with me. However, it appears that she makes no personal improvement. I don’t connect with her since we don’t get to see the same amount of deep, emotional sequences as the rest of the cast.”
Fans of ‘NCIS’ believe Nick Torres is more obnoxious than Abby Sciuto.
Abby’s popularity waned near the end of her 15-season stint on NCIS. However, she is no longer regarded as the most unpleasant character in the series. According to an NCIS fan vote done by Express, Wilmer Valderrama’s Nick Torres, who joined the squad in 2016, now holds that honor.
When analyzing the most obnoxious NCIS characters, one fan stated, “To me, that accolade goes to Torres.” He’s arrogant, pompous, and self-absorbed, and he never follows directions. He moans and grumbles about practically every assignment.”
“If this show were even remotely true to life, he would have been fired a long time ago,” the fan continued. He irritates me more than any other character. At first, I thought Abby was obnoxious, but she grew on me. Torres, on the other hand, I don’t see that happening.”
Nick Torres is a clone of Tony DiNozzo.
Another Reddit member stated that they do not despise Torres. He is, however, their “least favorite of the new team.”
“They made him look too much like Tony’s replacement. “Like, yes, Bishop took the position of Ziva, but they’re nothing alike,” a fan said. “Torres appears to be a copycat of Tony. And Tony was my personal favorite, so…”
Samantha Ryan, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, was a disliked character.
NCIS fans adore Jamie Lee Curtis as a performer, but her character Samantha Ryan was a flop. Dr. Ryan was the head of the Department of Defense’s Psychological Operations for a short time. She began a connection with Gibbs, but left the show after her son’s safety was jeopardized after his father was released from prison.
“Jamie Lee Curtis’ portrayal was the most irritating to me, despite the fact that I admire her work.” “She was just in the way all the time!” remarked one enthusiast. “I truly admire Jamie Lee Curtis but loathe Dr. Samantha Ryan!” said another.
“Every episode she was on, I was convinced she was a double agent or something,” a third wrote, before adding that Gibbs and Ryan had “zero chemistry.”
Margaret Allison Hart is regarded as ‘the worst’ among ‘NCIS’ fans.
Margaret Allison Hart, played by Rena Sofer, was likewise named as one of the procedural’s most obnoxious characters. Margaret was a defense attorney who appeared in Season 7 when a divorced couple of engineers were arrested for murd3r.
She had a romantic involvement with Gibbs (Mark Harmon). She left the show, however, after discovering a file linking him to the murd3r of Pedro Hernandez. On Reddit, some NCIS fans called her “insufferable” and “the worst.”
“Everyone says Allison Hart is cool, but I’ve skipped every episode she’s been in.” Not to mention the forced sexual tension she has with Gibbs, which felt odd and strange,” one irritated fan remarked.
