However, one of the scene’s actors has a theory about why CBS decided to share this specific scene on Instagram. And this theory has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Instead, NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen jokes that it’s likely his and Ruah’s “grown-up” choices…and their appearance…have resulted in the clip being shared on Instagram.
In a hilarious Instagram comment, the NCIS: Los Angeles star claims that CBS studios chose this clip because the two actors have cleaned up well. Or, at the very least, each has had a recent trim.
“I’m pretty sure the @cbstvstudios@cbstv & @ncisla team only promoted this clip because @danielaruah and I got new haircuts and we look like respectable grown-ups,” the actor jokes in an Instagram post published on Sunday afternoon.
Tonight on CBS, a new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles will air. The latest episode, Genesis, follows the NCIS team as they assist a Naval intelligence officer in locating a missing person. This missing person is a Naval intelligence officer who goes missing while looking for information and potential intelligence sources.

This season, there are still plenty of new NCIS: Los Angeles episodes to watch. However, as Daniela Ruah notes in a recent behind-the-scenes video shared on her Instagram page, filming for these installments has concluded. In the video, the NCIS: Los Angeles star sits next to her co-star, Eric Christian Olsen, and asks him, “What day is it today?”
However, as the video progresses, Olsen refuses to give Ruah a straight answer to her question, instead giving his co-star several hilarious responses.
“Is Blue Bloods on tonight?” asks the NCIS actor. “I’ll never forget my boy Tom Selleck.” Olsen then asks if it’s “national soup day.”
Finally, Olsen succumbs to his coworker’s questions, revealing that “today is the last day of filming Season 13 [of NCIS: Los Angeles].”
Without a doubt, this is a bittersweet moment for these NCIS stars. However, as Daniela Ruah’s caption for the video notes, the cast will be back for season 14 soon.
“Just two stupid gooses saying goodbye to season 13,” the NCIS: Los Angeles star writes.
“I’m putting Densi on hold for three months,” the actress adds. “Before we return to your tender embrace in Season 14!”
