Emily Wickersham, an NCIS alum, spent the entire summer living her best life. She doesn’t appear to have any plans to change her ways this winter.

If you’re a fan of NCIS, as we are here at Outsider, you’ll recognize Emily Wickersham. For eight seasons, the talented actress portrayed NSA Analyst Elanor “Ellie” Bishop on the CBS hit show. We were all disappointed to learn that she would be leaving the show at the end of the 18th season.

Despite missing her on NCIS, we’ve been able to keep up with Wickersham and her life on social media. But we’re all curious about her next professional steps. Perhaps she has plans to return to NCIS in the future? That would delight a large number of fans. Who can say? But, for the time being, Wickersham appears content to live in the present.

One of the most important reasons for this? Emily Wickersham has given birth to a baby boy. On December 30, she and her boyfriend, James Badge Dale, welcomed their first child, Cassius Wickersham Dale. On Saturday, she shared a cute photo of the mother-son duo bundled up on the beach. Here’s a link to it:

The majority of NCIS fans wish Wickersham had never left the show. But we can still see her Instagram updates. Fans of the show reacted positively to her latest photo, and many of them expressed their appreciation to the actress.

“Snuggles on the beach are the best life,” said one fan. “Have a good time making memories.” “Be careful.”

“I’m so happy for you, sweetie,” said another fan. “I enjoy and miss seeing you on television.” “I’m not even going to watch NCIS anymore.”

Emily Wickersham announced her departure from ‘NCIS’ in May.

“I’m hanging up this hat and jacket,” Wickersham explained at the time. “What a fantastic ride it’s been. This cast and crew are fantastic. I can’t say enough nice things about this group, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working for nearly 8 years and 172 episodes. This business is finicky and strange, and consistency is rare.”

It is now up to us to wait and see what Emily Wickersham, the actress, has in store for us. Having said that, it appears that she is more than content to simply enjoy being a mother for the time being.

“I’ve been fortunate to be a part of a show where I got to show up, act, laugh, and learn alongside wonderful people.” I’ll never forget that moment in time. Thank you, CBS and NCIS, for allowing me to be a part of television history. Time flies by. Consume it, but chew slowly.”
