Daniela Ruah, who plays Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, will also direct an upcoming CBS episode. However, a major crossover event involving all three shows is on the horizon. If you didn’t already know, NCIS: Los Angeles airs on Sundays, while NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii air on Monday nights. Will Ruah appear in the crossover event? When asked about it by TVLine, she responded with a firm “Yes.”

But she had something else to say about it. “Of course, I can’t say too much about the crossover, who’s going where, but I believe we’re all in those episodes,” Ruah said. “Those aren’t episodes in which someone [from the NCIS: LA cast] is absent.” We were just talking about how each of us is only out for four episodes per season. Those crossovers will not happen for anyone.”

That’s great news. In the new episode, which airs on Sunday night, the team is summoned as a woman flees the scene of her husband’s murd3r. We also get a sighting of Roberta Deeks. She arrives to meet Rosa, Marty and Kensi’s daughter. Callen will also discuss his feelings about marriage with Anna.

Ruah also discussed the difficulties she faces as a director. “What challenges me the most to this day, and I’m being completely honest here,” she says, “are probably the stunt sequences, because the logistics require being very specific and very careful, especially when there are explosions, people falling, or people being shot at.”

“It’s critical to be exceptionally well-prepared for those days, as well as ready for any changes, such as, ‘Oh, we scouted the location, but now that we’re here, wouldn’t it be cool to do this other thing?’” Ruah said. “Our stunt coordinator, Troy Brown, and our head of special effects, Donnie Frazee, and his son [Terry], are incredibly talented.”

Along with Ruah, NCIS: Los Angeles has a large cast. This show features Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Eric Christian Olsen, and Gerald McRaney. Linda Hunt portrays Hetty Lange, and it is hoped that she will appear in more episodes this season. Let’s hope Ruah directs more episodes in the future. She appears to enjoy what she does behind the camera. Of course, fans are aware that she also plays Kensi quite well. It’s cool, though, that she can handle double duty on such a fantastic show.
