NCIS stars from the past and present have banded together to assist the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Diona Reasonover, who plays Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines on the current NCIS cast, says she was asked to help out with the good cause by Pauley Perrette.

On NCIS, Perrette played Abigail Beethoven “Abby” Sciuto. Abby is the team’s former Chief Forensic Scientist, and when she decided to leave, Kasie was brought in to fill her shoes.

It’s great that Perrette and Reasonover are on such good terms, and it’s even better that they were able to collaborate on a project, even if it isn’t a special episode of NCIS as many fans may have hoped.

And while we’re on the subject of TV characters, Vanessa Lachey from NCIS: Los Angeles comes to mind. Hawai’i recently shared a throwback photo with NCIS actor Wilmer Valderrama. They’ve known each other for a long time, and they look very young in the 2006 photo Lachey posted online.

The fact that an NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover event is coming to CBS this spring should excite fans of the shows. We can’t wait to see the trailer and learn more about the big case they’ll all be working on that night.

In other news, the NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 premiere date has finally been revealed. It gives fans an idea of when the next episode will be released, which is great news after all of the delays caused by NFL action and suspended episodes.

There have also been some NCIS: LA cancellation rumors, which began with star Eric Christian Olsen’s Instagram post. Olsen plays Marty Deeks on NCIS, so he’s probably aware of what’s going on and whether or not NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 will air next year.
