Will Estes, who portrays Jamie Reagan on the long-running detective drama “Blue Bloods,” has seen his character grow from a novice officer to a seasoned sergeant over the course of 12 seasons.
Estes recently revealed an unexpected concept for a prospective episode during an interview.

Will Estes, of ‘Blue Bloods’ fame, has a fanciful dream: a full-fledged musical episode for the popular show.
Picture Tom Selleck belting show tunes! Estes envisions the whole affair as a dream sequence, adding a surreal twist.
While it may seem unlikely, other non-musical shows, such as “Lucifer” and “Psych,” have effectively incorporated musical episodes.
With Donnie Wahlberg’s musical background, thanks to his days in New Kids on the Block, the idea isn’t as wild as it seems. Who wouldn’t want to see the Reagan family breaking into song and dance?

I love it! My Grandson continued to be a much sought after Stage Manager & Electrical Technician even after he started College pursuing his Degree in Criminal Justice. He was inducted into the International Thespian Society as a High School Freshman. Now he’s a Senior in College and a Fully Sworn Police Officer for a little over a year! He started working in Theatre professionally before he graduated High School and was recruited in College to work at a Private Theatre in his College Town. I’m sure he’d love to see a “Blue Bloods” musical episode and so would my Cousin who loves “Blue Bloods” and her Dad is our local Chief of Police! Yes we have an unreal number of Law Enforcement Officers in our family. Both sides of my family! Dad’s side includes Wyatt Earp and his brothers Morgan and Virgil and Doc Holliday (all 4 of the Lawmen at the Shootout at the OK Corral)!
I really like the idea of a musical episode! This cast is capable of anything. They are a very talented group!
