Mark Harmon, best known for his role on NCIS, has had a remarkable career. Born to football player Tom Harmon and actress Elyse Knox, his mix of athletic prowess and Hollywood charm helped cement his status in entertainment.

Harmon’s love of football derives from his father, a collegiate football star. As UCLA’s quarterback in the early 1970s, Harmon led his team to numerous triumphs, including a historic victory over Nebraska, which ended their 32-game winning streak.
