Sasha Alexander Joins DiNozzo & Ziva Actors in New NCIS Spinoff Photos

Ahead of their NCIS spinoff, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have reunited with original franchise actor Sasha Alexander. Despite the recent cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i, the NCIS universe remains strong, with new spinoffs on the horizon. One of these is an offshoot featuring Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, played by Weatherly and de Pablo, respectively. This new project, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, will stream on Paramount+ instead of airing on CBS.

Weatherly and de Pablo are presenting an NCIS rewatch podcast called Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch before returning to the show. Sasha Alexander recently appeared on the podcast, and the trio posted sweet reunion images to Alexander’s Instagram.

The podcast features Weatherly and de Pablo discussing the series with various guests who have been involved in the franchise, both past and present.

Can Sasha Alexander’s Kate Todd Still Make Appearances in the NCIS Universe?

Almost two decades after Kate Todd’s devastating death in the NCIS season 2 finale, her character was recently reintroduced on NCIS’ 1000th episode using archive material. Despite this, Sasha Alexander’s comeback is still possible.

NCIS has a history of bringing Alexander back post-Kate’s death. After Ari k1lled Kate, Alexander appeared in the first two episodes of season 3 as projections. She could reprise her role as a hallucination if NCIS season 22 decides to bring her back.

Furthermore, Alexander may be participating in other capacities, such as directing episodes of the upcoming NCIS: Tony & Ziva. She previously directed an episode of Michael Weatherly’s Bull and has a positive relationship with Cote de Pablo. If she directs an episode, it will be her first official participation with NCIS after leaving the show.

  1. I love you guys and I’ve been a fan for most of the years NCIS began but I will NOT pay another streaming service in order to see it. I already have CBS with my Hulu account and it’s expensive enough particularly for people on fixed income. So I wish you the best and hope it goes well but I won’t see it.

  2. I really hope you bring this on CBS cable TV cause being on a fixed income just can’t justify ordering another source to watch TV

  3. All of you look great and have always kept us riveted to the screen , Sasha should have a series about her secret service days, anyway welcome back😎

  4. I’m so glad to see all three of you first in the pod cast Off Duty and now! I have been a big fan of l three of you and look forward to the new series Tony and Ziva on Paramount +. Hope that Sasha will have a director depute and maybe show some flash backs of her on the new show with Tony reminiscing about his first days with NCIS. Wish you both good luck with the new series and look forward to its premiere!

  5. My wife, a murder mystery and published author, and partner of 48 years passed unexpectedly in 2021. After I was able to accept the loss, I downloaded all prior seasons as we watched them all – together. I continue to watch the current two series. As good as ,or better than, the Reacher series.

  6. Ziva was always the best female agent by far. With the background they gave her, she was a real agent and asset to the show. All the other female agents have been little more than window dressing, but Ziva was the real deal. Will Mark Harmon be involved in this show? That would be great, even if he is s just on a phone call with Tony and Ziva. And McGee needs to make the occasional appearance to help tie it in.
