From her early days as a bartender to her stardom as Abby Sciuto on NCIS, Pauley Perrette has demonstrated tenacity and a wide range of experiences. Pauley was born in New Orleans and worked in a variety of fields before deciding to pursue a career in acting. Perrette’s life took a darker turn behind the scenes. In 2016, tension with co-star Mark Harmon allegedly escalated after an incident involving his dog biting a crew member. Aside from her career and activism, Pauley’s personal life also faced turbulence. Her marriage to musician Francis “Coyote” Shivers ended in 2004 with allegations of abuse, leading Pauley to seek a restraining order. Later relationships, though public, didn’t culminate in marriage, and she has remained cautious about marriage since.
