OJ Simpson, the former football star, has passed away at 76 after battling cancer, as announced by his family. Simpson hinted at his diagnosis in 2023 and previously claimed to have beaten the illness.

Simpson gained fame as an NFL running back, notably with the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers. He became embroiled in the infamous murder trial of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, in 1995. Though acquitted, the trial captivated millions and inspired TV dramas like “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”
Survived by four children from two marriages, Simpson leaves behind a legacy marked by both athletic prowess and legal controversy.
