NCIS Star Shares Thrilling Update on Tony and Ziva Spinoff Release

After a rocky 2024 that saw the cancelation of NCIS: Hawai’i and the end of NCIS: Los Angeles, the NCIS franchise has bounced back stronger than ever. With NCIS: Sydney expanding the show’s global reach and NCIS: Origins diving into its past, fans now have another reason to get excited Tony and Ziva are returning.

Michael Weatherly recently teased fans on social media about the long-awaited Tony and Ziva spinoff. While he didn’t give an exact release date, his message was clear: expect it around the holidays. “Like Xmas Patience,” he wrote, suggesting a December debut.

The series, which wrapped production in February, will follow Tony (Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) as they flee across Europe, uncovering who’s after them while working to rebuild trust. Their daughter will also play a central role, adding a new layer to the story.

If Weatherly’s hints are anything to go by, we could be unwrapping the premiere episode by the end of the year.
