NCIS Star Loic Suberville Hints at Exciting Updates Ahead for Long-Awaited Tony & Ziva Spinoff

It looks like NCIS fans won’t have to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated spinoff NCIS: Tony and Ziva. The crew has now finished filming, with the show set to premiere on Paramount+ next year.

Actor Loic Suberville took to Instagram to share an update with fans, posing for a picture alongside the show’s star, Michael Weatherly. “Wrapped on @ncisverse,” he wrote, hinting at his involvement in the new program.

Loic, who is well known for his English Doesn’t Make Sense and French Doesn’t Make Sense videos, has yet to reveal his position in the spinoff. Loic was dressed in a white shirt and black bowtie, while Michael Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, wore a dark gray shirt and black suit jacket.

NCIS: Tony and Ziva will see Michael Weatherly reprise his role as Tony, with Cote de Pablo also returning as his on-screen love interest, Ziva David. The show starts with the pair being reunited off-screen in Paris. Tony and Ziva were previously separated after Tony believed Ziva was dead. He had been raising their daughter alone until it was revealed that Ziva faked her death to protect her family from a woman named Sahar.

The new spinoff upends their lives when Tony’s security firm is assaulted. The couple flees, attempting to figure out who is chasing them while raising their daughter, Tali. Cote de Pablo has promised fans an action-packed episode, implying that Tony and Ziva will face substantial obstacles in achieving their “happily ever after.” She explained to Variety: “We’re trying to address the idea of trust and how they move forward as parents, facing many challenges along the way.”

Speculation is rife among fans about whether Sean Murray’s character, Timothy McGee, will make a guest appearance. Some hope that McGee will leave NCIS MCRT to join Tony and Ziva on the spinoff. As one fan wrote on X, “McGee in the Tony & Ziva spinoff, please.”
