NCIS: Tony and Ziva Reunion Spin-Off ‘Season 1’: What You Need to Know

NCIS continues to prosper, with the 22nd season set to premiere in the fall of 2024. Despite the termination of NCIS: Hawai’i, CBS is launching two new spin-offs: NCIS: Origins, which follows Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ early career, and a show that reunites Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo. This decision resembles Law & Order’s successful rebirth technique.

The main NCIS series remains incredibly popular, leading CBS and Paramount to focus on characters fans truly miss. While NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: Hawai’i have ended, the core series stays strong. Fans long for the return of characters played by Mark Harmon, Cote de Pablo, and Michael Weatherly. The late David McCallum’s Ducky will always be cherished, but the original cast’s legacy endures. Here’s what to expect from NCIS: Tony And Ziva:

Here’s A Shorter Version of The Plot Summary for the ‘NCIS’ Spin-Off Featuring Tony and Ziva:

The much-anticipated “NCIS” spin-off stars Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, who now live in Paris and film in Budapest. The series delves into their delicate relationship and trust concerns as they raise their daughter, Tali. Following Ziva’s fabricated death and Tony’s absence to care for Tali, the two reunite despite continued threats. Trust becomes a prominent topic as they face new problems.

Michael Weatherly (Tony) and Cote de Pablo (Ziva) joke about the show’s title, hinting at the suspenseful nature of “NCIS: Trust No One.” New characters include a British nanny/bodyguard, a Russian hacker, a French Interpol liaison, and a tweenage Tali.

The official synopsis promises an action-packed roller coaster filled with love, danger, and humor as Tony’s security company is att4cked, forcing them to flee across Europe and learn to trust each other again. Expect plenty of drama and excitement as the beloved characters strive for their unconventional happily ever after.

Cast:

Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly are reprising their fan-favorite roles, and we’re hoping for a cameo from another NCIS soul. Obviously, this will not be Pauley Perrette, but other options abound.

Release Date:

NCIS: Tony And Ziva will stream on Paramount+. CBS has yet to confirm whether it will schedule a weekly NCIS night featuring all three series (including Origins and Tony And Ziva) consecutively or stagger the releases to avoid long gaps without new episodes. NCIS: Origins is slated for late 2024/early 2025, so Tony And Ziva will likely follow soon after.
