What Happened During the NCIS Season 21 Finale?

The NCIS Season 21 finale begins with Director Vance offering Knight the position of Chief REACT Training Officer in California, which would take her away from DC. Knight asks for a day to decide, but when Jimmy finds out, he reacts badly and breaks up with her.

Meanwhile, the NCIS team is called in to investigate three dead bodies discovered on a Navy ship that is about to be sunk as an artificial reef. Initially, the k1llings appear unrelated, but the team identifies one of the victims, prompting Knight and Parker to explore his apartment. They believe they missed an important clue aboard the ship.

Back on the ship, Knight and Parker discover a unisex watch. As they try to leave, they get trapped in the engine room, with no cell phone reception due to the ship’s steel hull. Parker is seriously injured, and Knight attempts a risky escape through a hatch. The team arrives just in time to save Knight and get Parker to the hospital.

Finally, Vance seeks a response from Knight regarding the employment offer. She accepts to accept the role, and Jimmy and the crew see her decision.
