The series finale of NCIS: Los Angeles is set to air later this spring, and stars LL Cool J, Medalion Rahimi, Eric Christian Olsen, and Chris O’Donnell have revealed what fans can expect during the final episode.
Rahimi told PEOPLE that she believes the NCIS: Los Angeles finale will be well received by fans. “I think the fans will be really happy because we are wrapping up a lot of storylines,” Rahimi said. “We bring closure to a lot of the characters, and I don’t think anything will be left unfinished or feeling unfinished.”
Olsen went on to say that at the end of the show, fans will feel fulfilled as well. “I believe Deeks is looking for the family he never had,” Olsen continued. According to the actor, his character found love with Daniela Ruah’s Kensi and parenthood with Rosa. With Linda Hunt’s Hetty, the character even found a more stable mother.
“With Sam and Called, he found the brothers he never had,” Olsen explained. “And I think the peace at the end of that arc is really satisfying for an actor to play – but also for the audience.”
However, Olsen teased that there will be surprises for fans. “There will also be some surprises. It’s worthwhile.”

Meanwhile, LL Cool J reflected on his time on NCIS: Los Angeles and the show’s 14-season run.

LL Cool J went on to say that there is “melancholiness on some levels” in the show. However, he is pleased with the show’s long-term success. “It’s kind of like winning crazy Super Bowls or something,” he added.
The NCIS: Los Angeles star went on to say that he shot the two-part series finale without having read the final script. “I actually backed off it, you know what I’m saying? I took it scene by scene and let it surprise me a little.”
Chris O’Donnell also revealed that there will be unexpected appearances during the finale. “It wasn’t what I was expecting, but it felt very appropriate.”
NCIS: Los Angeles debuted in 2009 and has since aired over 300 episodes. CBS announced in January 2023 that the show would end after its fourteenth season. On May 14th, the series finale will air.
