Deeks was saving his wife, Kensi, from a nefarious militia group the last time we saw a new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles.
The bad guys’ leader considered Kensi a traitor to the country because she assisted an undocumented immigrant. There was a shootout. Kensi was discovered by Deeks and Sam. Deeks, being the wonderful husband that he is, handed Kensi a gun so she could shoot the militia leader.
The NCIS: Los Angeles social media account threw it back to the end of that episode, titled A Land of Wolves, on Monday. Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) were safely in bed together in the image. Kensi was wearing a bandage on her arm. They both realized how fortunate Kensi was to be alive.
“This episode warmed our cold little hearts,” the caption reads. As Deeks puts it, “they’ll always find their way back to each other, one way or another.” This, ladies and gentlemen, is why NCIS: Los Angeles fans adore “Densi.”
Fans of NCIS: Los Angeles, rejoice. Sunday is a double feature day.
Meanwhile, NCIS: Los Angeles continues season 13 this Sunday with a double dose of your favorite agents. Yes, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
First and foremost, it’s Under the Influence. In addition, NCIS: Los Angeles will reintroduce a character from A Land of Wolves. That’s Aliyah De Leon, Sam’s long-time friend and supervisory special agent (LL Cool J). Sam was also acquainted with Aliyah’s father. In fact, at the end of the previous episode, Sam showed Aliyah an old photo of her father.
The second hour is devoted to Where Loyalties Lie.
Now for some plot specifics. “The NCIS team assists a US ambassador in her search for her missing daughter, Gia (Caitlin Carmichael), a popular social media influencer,” CBS teases in the first hour. Agent Aliyah De León also returns to assist the team with the case.”
Patricia Rae appears as a guest star in this episode. Her most recent TV appearance was as a judge in a dozen episodes of the CBS drama All Rise.
The plot for the second hour is as follows: “When a civilian scientist working with the marines is k1ll3d and her advanced radar technology is stolen, the NCIS team must scramble to find the missing technology and the perpetrator.”
Will Kensi and Deeks adopt a foster child?
Anthony Alabi, a guest star on NCIS: Los Angeles, makes an appearance in this episode. He’s the big guy in the role of Marine Master Sgt. David Maxwell. Alabi was a TCU football star who transitioned from defensive line to offensive tackle. He briefly played for Navy before becoming a Horned Frog.
Nick Saban, then the coach of the Miami Dolphins, selected Alabi in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Over the next five seasons, Alabi bounced around from Miami to Kansas City to Tampa Bay.
Let’s return to Kensi and Deeks, the show’s favorite couple. At the end of the previous episode, it appeared that the two were leaning toward becoming foster parents. Rosa, the young immigrant Kensi assisted in saving, is an orphan in need of a home. Rosa could be Kensi and Deeks’s daughter.
