Fans of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” rejoice! CBS has officially announced the 14th season premiere date for the hit TV show.
CBS announced on Twitter on Thursday (June 23rd) that “NCIS: Los Angeles” will premiere on Sunday, October 9th. The remaining “NCIS” shows will debut on Monday, September 19th.
The cast of “NCIS: Los Angeles” announced the exciting news on Instagram. “Set your cruise control because we’re coasting all the way to October 9 for Season 14 of NCIS: Los Angeles.” “Are you joining us for the ride?”
CBS’s announcement of the season premiere dates for “NCIS: Los Angeles” and other fall shows comes just weeks after “NCIS” star Sean Murray teased a possible crossover episode in a cryptic post. The post featured a photo of Murray with LL Cool J with only hashtags in the caption.
It’s been seven years since the last “NCIS” crossover, when Michael Weatherly’s Tony Dinozzo enlisted the help of the LA Team in the hunt for an escaped money launderer.
While on the set of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles,’ LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell reportedly assisted in the creation of ‘Come Dance With Me.’
LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell revealed in a recent interview with Variety how they came up with a new family-oriented dance competition called “Come Dance With Me” on the set of “NCIS: LA.”
“‘What are you looking at?'” says [LL]. During the interview, O’Donnell stated. “I told him it was a new show idea from a friend.” ‘I think that thing is hot!’ he says. You should go for it. This is right up your alley.’ Then he said, ‘I’ll do it if you do it!'”
LL Cool J went on to say how much he enjoys the idea of families getting together and the music. “This idea of kids connecting with their parents, the adults in their lives who mean something to them,” the “NCIS” star explained. “And going on a show and having their dreams come true — especially given what we’ve been through in the last few years.”
O’Donnell went on to explain how TikTok dance challenges benefit the contestants. “As I was watching my daughter teach my sons how to do these TikTok dances, everything just seemed to fall into place for something like this.” And when you add in the emotional component of these kids, who are all trained dancers, bringing in someone in their life with a meaningful relationship who may or may not be experienced, it’s not just about the dancing. It’s more about the individual journeys that these people have taken.”
Jenna Dewan, Dexter Mayfield, and Tricia Miranda serve as judges on “Come Dance With Me.” For the first season of “NCIS,” the cast stayed more behind the scenes.
