NCIS: LA is nearing its final episode, as fans prepare to say goodbye to CBS’s popular police procedural series – and its beloved characters – later this year.
During this week’s episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, fan favorites Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) shared a sweet moment.
The occasion saw the couple commemorate ten years since they first met, which is the exact amount of time since fans first saw the couple share their first kiss.
Kensi appeared to miss the days when the couple had time to enjoy each other as a couple after the pair appeared to be struggling to balance their work commitments and personal lives.
Kensi, as usual, drew Deeks to her side, and they agreed to have a regular date night and spend some quality time together.
Deeks instructed Kensi to reach into his “back right pocket” where she discovered an origami fortune teller who asked Kensi if she wanted to be his girlfriend.
Deeks, on the other hand, wasn’t done with his romantic gestures just yet.
He directed Kensi to his back left pocket, where she discovered some theater tickets to a show she had been wanting to see.
“I know we have a lot on our plates, but the last thing I want to miss is this,” Deeks said. I don’t want to throw away what got us here.”
Kensi gazed romantically into Deeks’ eyes as he whispered, “This feels like ten years ago.” I don’t want to lose that glimmer. I don’t want to lose either of us, and I especially don’t want to lose you.”
Deeks arranged for “Mama Deeks” to babysit for them while they enjoyed a much-needed date night at the theater after they shared their touching moment together.
This touching gesture from Deeks touched both the hearts of fans and Kensi.
One fan, @burzekxdensi, wrote on Twitter, “DEEKS GAVE HIS WIFE FLOWERS AND THEY GO TO DINNER TOGETHER JUST THEM TWO THESE ARE MY PARENTS.”
“Now case-mission aside, OMG, the feelings I needed to see return, and those feelings did indeed return between my favorite team duo of NCIS: Los Angeles, Kensi & Deeks,” another fan, @TonyCF_88, wrote. It was flawless. It was fantastic.”
“Seemed like a perfect opportunity and yet, still no Densi kiss,” said a third user, @swedecoder. Date night sounds fun, but Rosa doesn’t need a babysitter at her age.”

“This feels like ten years ago,” @wannaBbold added, referring to the fact that Deeks kissed Kensi for the first time ten years ago.
