NCIS Season 21 has begun production. Following two lengthy Hollywood strikes, the cast and crew reunited to work on fresh material.
One disadvantage of the late start to production is that there will be fewer episodes from the new season. However, CBS fans will be able to watch the show again this winter.
Former NCIS star Mark Harmon is now on a book tour, putting a damper on the newest speculations of him reprising his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
Many fans are still in mourning following the d3ath of actor David McCallum. During the show’s suspension, it was announced that David had d1ed at the age of 90. The tragic news must be dealt with early in NCIS Season 21.
For two decades, David portrayed Chief Medical Examiner Donald “Ducky” Mallard. He was an important element of the show, but in recent years he has spent more time away from it.
It was time for the rest of the NCIS cast to return to work, and now a humorous video from the first day of filming has been posted.
The NCIS cast has released a new video from the Season 21 set.
“Final update! Production begins now! “On Monday, February 12, 2024, at 9 p.m. ET on #CBS, #NCIS season 21 will premiere,” NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama said on Instagram.
The message contains a video of Wilmer thanking fans and informing them when the show will return. On the hit CBS drama, Wilmer continues to play Agent Nick Torres.
It is with great joy and relief that I report to you, my lovely and patient fans, that NCIS Season 21 is officially under production. Wilmer starts the video.
“Big, big season premiere,” Wilmer hints.
Sean Murray (Agent Timothy McGee), Katrina Law (Agent Jessica Knight), Gary Cole (Agent Alden Parker), and Rocky Carroll (NCIS Director Leon Vance) all appear in the video.
