Wilmer Valderrama, star of NCIS, announced on Instagram earlier this week that he and fiancée Amanda Pacheco are expecting their first child. It didn’t take long for his co-stars to offer their congratulations.
Wilmer Valderrama has played Agent Nick Torres on NCIS for nearly 100 episodes, fighting cr1me alongside the likes of Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) and co. Away from the CBS series, he’s been dating model Amanda Pacheco since early 2019, and the couple is now expecting their first child together. The exciting family news was announced on Instagram by the NCIS star.
Valderrama and Pacheco shared a few photos from a professional photoshoot that revealed the first signs of the latter’s pregnancy.
Valderrama’s message to his 1.8 million Instagram followers was relatively short and to the point.
“It’s just us three now,” he wrote, alongside a photographer credit.
Pacheco followed suit, keeping her message to her 56.3k followers on her respective page short and sweet: “#itsjustus3now.”
The cute captions were a nod to previous posts the two made when they announced their engagement earlier this year.
It didn’t take long for fans of both celebrities to express their gratitude.
Among the responses were a few familiar faces, including some of Valderrama’s co-stars.
Emily Wickersham, star of Ellie Bishop, responded with an applauding emoji.
Diona Reasonover, best known for her role as Kasie Hines on NCIS, also commented: “Love [heart emoji] this! Congrats!”
“OMG !!!!!!!! @wilmervalderrama [crying emoji] I’m overjoyed for you!!!!” Sarah Wright Olsen, wife of NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen, commented.
“Yesssss,” said Game of Thrones legend Sophie Turner in response to Pacheco’s post.
The couple did not reveal any additional information about their exciting news, such as sex or due date.
Valderrama is currently in the 18th season of NCIS on CBS, his fifth season with the show.
Season 18 is, however, unlike any other because of the c0r0nav1rus pand3mic.
Valderrama and his co-stars returned to the set earlier this year to film 16 episodes of the serial drama.
After only three episodes, the show has gone on holiday hiatus and will not return until 2021.
The fourth episode of the series, titled Sunburn, will air on January 5th, according to IMDb.
However, CBS has yet to confirm this, and fans are eagerly awaiting word on when Torres, Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Fornell (Joe Spano), and the others will return to the screen.
