NCIS fans eagerly awaiting the spin-off NCIS: Tony & Ziva just got a thrilling update from star Michael Weatherly. Responding to a fan on X (formerly Twitter), Weatherly hinted the series is nearly ready to launch: “It’s so, so… close to nearly being a thing we can show,” he wrote playfully, comparing the anticipation to “Xmas Patience.”
The ten-episode series, which is set to launch on Paramount+ in 2025, recently finished filming in February. Weatherly marked the milestone with a hilarious post and a bathtub photo, writing, “Finally wrapping Season 1…and feeling how much I love bathtubs.”
Tony & Ziva reunites Weatherly and co-star Cote De Pablo as their iconic characters Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David. The story picks up with the couple raising their daughter, Tali, in Paris – until Tony’s security company is att4cked, forcing the family to go on the run across Europe. Along the way, they’ll confront danger, rebuild trust, and search for their unconventional happily-ever-after.
Oh hi-ho! It’s so, so… close to nearly being a thing we can show. But do you why Doctors are so good at golf? They have lots of Patients. (But not like crazy patience. Like, normal patience with surprises that make you happy. Like Xmas Patience.) https://t.co/vUUriyIppp
