Michael Weatherly Gives Huge Props to ‘Epitome of Awesome’ Sasha Alexander After ‘NCIS’ Reunion on ‘Bull’

On Saturday (April 30th), Michael Weatherly took to Twitter to thank Sasha Alexander for her appearance on his hit show “Bull” following their “NCIS” reunion.

“I loved working with The Epitome of Awesome Sasha Alexander,” Michael Weatherly said on social media after the “Bull” episode. “And am now in the gym trying to use weight,” the former “NCIS” star continued. Because comedy is a harsh teacher.”

Michael Weatherly and Sasha Alexander worked together on “NCIS” from 2003 to 2015, prior to the “Bull” episode. Caitlin Todd was played by Alexander.

Weatherly was a regular on “NCIS” until 2016. Following his departure from the cr1minal investigation series, he resurrected his “Bull” character as the series’ main character, Jason Bull. He has been a part of the show since 2016, and it is now in its sixth and final season.

Michael Weatherly announced earlier this year that “Bull” would be ending. “It’s been my privilege to play Dr. Jason Bull,” the “NCIS” alum said on Twitter in January. But, after six seasons of incredible storylines, I’ve decided it’s time to move on to new creative challenges and bring his story to a close.”

On May 26th, the final episode of “Bull” will air.

Michael Weatherly Discusses His ‘Bull’ Character

Michael Weatherly revealed more details about his “Bull” character and how the character and the series have evolved since the show’s first season in a 2019 interview with Hey U Guys.

“At the end of Season 1, I took advantage of the opportunity to flip the character,” Michael Weatherly explained.

He also stated that showrunner Glenn Gordon Carson wanted to flip “Bull” and present the drinking, eating, and isolating himself persona from the start.

“He began compartmentalizing, which resulted in disaster.” When we look at the world we live in today, we see that everyone is separated by information and political beliefs.”

Michael Weatherly also stated that “Bull” speaks on information and beliefs, and he believes that one of the highlights of the show’s second season is everyone seeing what happens to a character like Bull.

“It’s easier to stay with people who look like you and in your own tribe, and it’s even easier to stay alone.” We’ve all seen what happens when you have a heart att4ck on the steps of a building that demands truth and justice.

Perhaps his truth was served to him on a special plate that day, which happened to be a heart att4ck.”

Michael Weatherly went on to say that he thinks Glenn Carson is a fantastic writer. “In terms of critical acclaim, I believe ‘Bull’ is a vastly underappreciated show.” Which is fantastic because nothing beats an underdog!”
