Country music icon George Strait owes much of his success to his lifelong partner, Norma Voss. They met in high school in Poteet, Texas, and despite initial distance, their relationship blossomed. They married in 1971, despite initial opposition, and raised two children, tragically losing their daughter Jennifer in 1986.
