As NCIS: Los Angeles approaches its conclusion, fans can expect another action-packed episode during CBS’ final season 14.
CBS viewers have already expressed their displeasure after discovering that two key characters are “missing” from the upcoming episode 15 of NCIS: LA’s fourteenth and final season. Viewers have taken to social media to complain that they can’t find them in the newly released teaser clips.
Taster clips have been released ahead of Sunday’s episode, which is titled “The Other Shoe” this week.
According to the official synopsis, Sam (played by LL Cool J) will be the center of attention as he embarks on an extremely important mission.
Viewers can expect more action in the new episode as CBS reveals what he’ll be doing in Sunday’s installment.
“Sam Hanna must go undercover as a fighter to catch the leader of a gang dealing drugs on the streets,” according to the description.
However, after watching teaser clips for the upcoming episode, fans were disappointed to see that not everyone was on-screen.
“Looks like both Callen and Kensi might be AWOL Sunday’s episode,” tweeted @0803HAL. #ncisla”
“Ugh lovely,” @JoanneKBee responded. I’ve stopped caring about the episode if Callen isn’t there.”
“Don’t tell me Deeks?” tweeted @cvw48. There’s no point in watching.”
Fans on YouTube noticed the absences as well after watching more of the teaser clips released ahead of this week’s episode.
“No Kensi or Callen in this episode?” said @patriciabrandt2883.
@ellieharris7138 commented, “Can’t wait but no callen?”
“I was just thinking that!” said @ianmintz3335. “Where have Callen and Kensi gone?”
“Some characters go off for a certain number of episodes in the season,” @Kat-hg9tz explained at the end of the comments.
“They’ve been doing it for a few seasons now.”
Following the cancellation of CBS’s cr1me drama, star Daniela Ruah (who plays Kensi) has already booked her next television role.
The actress has been confirmed to host the Portuguese version of the critically acclaimed game show The Traitors.
Following the premiere of the show, Ruah took to Instagram this week to share a first look at the new series.
“Forget everything you’ve ever seen,” she wrote. “The global phenomenon has arrived in Portugal!”
The season 14 finale and final episode of NCIS: Los Angeles will air later this year in May.
