Blue Bloods’ 250th episode was celebrated with well-deserved fanfare. After all, it’s not everyday that a network TV show reaches its 12th season, and fans continue to want more from the Reagans.
The cast members of the show marked the occasion with heartfelt messages for their fans. Tom Selleck, Marisa Ramirez, Len Cariou, Vanessa Ray, and Will Estes all expressed their appreciation, but Donnie Wahlberg said it best: “Thank you to all of the ‘Blue Bloods’ fans and viewers over the last 12 years. As we celebrate our 250th episode, it occurs to me that none of this would have been possible without your loyalty, love, and support. I thank and appreciate you, and I’m thrilled that you’re a member of our TV family.”
Of course, fans flocked to the comments section to express their support, with comments such as “You are my family!! I’ve been watching since the first episode!! “Wishing all of the cast and crew continued good health and many more seasons,” “Need season 13,” and “I hope this show never ends!””
While we don’t know what the future holds for Blue Bloods, we do know that season 12 will continue. However, not this week.
Blue Bloods fans are accustomed to tuning in on Friday nights to CBS, but the show is taking a brief hiatus. On March 18 and March 25, there will be no new episodes. The next new episode, titled “Hidden Motive,” will premiere on April 1 (and no, this is not an April Fool’s joke!).
If you aren’t up to date or want to rewatch your favorite episodes, all 12 seasons are available to stream on Paramount+.
