Demi Moore Shares Heartfelt Update on Bruce Willis’ Health After Visiting Him

Demi Moore recently offered an update on Bruce Willis’ health while accepting the Career Achievement in Acting Award at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival on October 13.

The 61-year-old actress confirmed that her ex-husband, now 69, is “stable” as he battles frontotemporal dementia (FTD), following a previous diagnosis of aphasia, first disclosed by his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.

Moore, in a live chat with Alina Cho, underlined the importance of accepting Bruce’s condition. “The disease is what the disease is, and you have to deeply accept that,” stated the doctor. Moore encouraged others to focus on the present moment, saying that “there is great beauty and sweetness” in meeting people where they are rather than dwelling on the past.

Couple Cherishes Every Moment Together

Demi Moore pondered on her recent encounter with Bruce Willis, noting that she had seen him just two days before with her granddaughter Louetta, Rumer’s small daughter. Moore underlined the value of cherishing their time together: “Being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it.”

Moore and Willis share three daughters-Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30. Moore recently reiterated on The Drew Barrymore Show that Bruce remains stable given the circumstances.

During the Hamptons International Film Festival, Moore looked back on her career, recalling roles in films like Ghost, Indecent Proposal, and G.I. Jane. After watching a reel of her past performances, she reflected, “It feels like lifetimes…Thank God I kept getting opportunities to get better.”
