Alternatively, a series about Frank’s early career-his service in the Vietnam War and his rise through the police ranks-could offer fresh and intriguing narratives.
While the current chatter about a sequel spin-off feels unnecessary, delving into the deep backstories of iconic characters like Frank and Danny may be the refreshing change fans are looking for.
