Blue Bloods Fan-Favorite Character Will Not Return in Season 14

Fans of the hit series Blue Bloods can breathe a sigh of relief because it has been officially renewed for a 14th season. Despite difficulty, the producers’ love for the show and its committed fan base triumphed, ensuring its continuation.

While the renewal brings excitement, it also comes with some changes. Certain cast members will bid farewell after Season 13, marking their final appearance in the finale. This departure includes a reduction in pay for the remaining cast and crew, but their dedication to the show remains unwavering.

The Blue Bloods family goes beyond the Reagans, engaging a big and passionate fan base that eagerly awaits new episodes. Although the specifics of the future season’s plotline are unknown, fans may expect the continuation of character stories for those returning.

While bidding farewell to beloved characters may be bittersweet, the anticipation for Season 14 remains high as fans eagerly await what’s to come.

Five performers will not be returning for the new season of the popular show. Among them are Abigail Hawk, Dylan Walsh, Tony Terraciano, Steve Schirripa, and Gregory Jbara. Hawk’s absence is particularly notable as her character, Abigail Baker, has been a fan favorite.

Despite hopes for her character to receive more focus in the upcoming season, it seems viewers will have to bid farewell to her expressive presence on the show.

  1. Oh no!!!! Some of my favorites leaving. Won’t be the same without Abigail, Anthony and Garret. Of course Jack will also be missed. Need to work hard to try to keep them and also bring back the grandkids.

    • Oh no, it won’t be the same with Abigail (Baker) or Garret not being there! They will truly be missed! They change mayor’s quite often and Jack hasn’t been on many episodes since he went to college but he will be missed, too!!!

  2. I can’t believe that Abigail (Baker), Garret and Anthony aren’t coming back, it won’t be the same without them! Jack hasn’t been on there much since he went to college and they change mayor’s quite often!!!

  3. I will miss Abigail and Steve, two of my favorites. Also Garrett. Didn’t like the Mayor at all. But I’m so sad the show is canceled.

  4. It so rare that a “Great Show and tremendous mix of Actors” can assemble for a presentation like “Blue Bloods” I’m not a follower of TV by any streech, but Blue Bloods as is has been the only suitable TV worth watching…without any exception the Cast as is has been just perfect. To lose Ant on ney… is criminal; and Baker will be a void no one can replace. What the powers to be have done is a sad loss to the American Public.

  5. If Blue Bloods is so popular, why should cast members have to take a 25% pay cut? This is the best show on television. I guess it has to do with the fact that there are no gay characters in it! I really don’t care what people say or do in their own lives, I just like shows that are not shoving “alternatives” down our throats!

  6. It seems people are reading this wrong. No where does this article say the character of Garret would be leaving yet there are quite a few mentioning he is. From what I’m reading two I believe are our favorites that won’t be returning are the characters of Abigail and Anthony. We would had hoped since this is the last season they would have stayed on for the last. Sad but it still will be a good show. The actors that portrayed the mayor and deputy commissioner have changed over the years so we weren’t used to the same person (at least I wasn’t) and therefore to me they won’t be missed. I’m still excited to see season 14. I hate that they are showing the season in two parts. They will only have a few come Jan or Feb whenever its returning and then end it until Sept or October. I’m sure we will all the enjoy the show anyway.

  7. I simply don’t understand how or why an sane person would eliminate Abigail, Steve, or Gregory. These are all essential characters.
The only way I can accept this is, if the actors THEMSELVES decided to leave of their own accord. Other than this whomever has made these decisions is an idiot. Just sayin.
