CBS Confirms the Fate of Blue Bloods Season 15

Fans of “Blue Bloods” should prepare to say goodbye to the Reagan family’s Sunday night supper. Despite emotional pleas from performers such as Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck, CBS has officially cancelled the long-running sitcom.

“We want to thank the incredible cast and crew for their dedication,” said CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach. “While we’ll miss those family dinners, it’s time to give the show the sendoff it deserves.”

The decision follows a series of social media efforts, with Wahlberg leading the way on platforms such as X. Despite his best efforts, the network’s decision to end the show in December remained unchanged.

As we prepare to bid farewell to “Blue Bloods,” let’s cherish the memories of this iconic TV family and the impact they’ve had on audiences over the years.

Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, and Tom Selleck Speak Out on Blue Bloods Season 15

Major cast members of “Blue Bloods” have voiced their dismay over the show’s cancellation. Donnie Wahlberg, known for his active support on Twitter, expressed being “upset and sad” during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” alongside Bridget Moynahan. Moynahan shared sentiments about saying goodbye to the show’s tight-knit family, including the long-standing crew.

Tom Selleck, who portrays Frank Reagan, expressed reluctance about bidding farewell to his character, indicating CBS’s plans for an eight-episode conclusion. Despite hopes for continuation elsewhere, CBS seems committed to concluding the show as planned. Fans can anticipate a proper sendoff for the Reagans this fall.

    • I have commented many times as have thousands of others. It seems CBS does not care about ratings. Unbelievable you would keep shows whose ratings are low or bring in other shows not knowing how they will do. Why cancel your #1 series? You say it is also because you want new blood, but are keeping NCIS after 21 seasons? Your reasons make no sense. Come to your senses and keep Blue Bloods.

      • Blue Bloods was their number 1 rated show and was still on top for Friday night shows. CBS has gone all in on the woke agenda side of things. We need to all Bud Light the network and really make it hurt by contacting their advertisers and let them know as long as they support this network we will no longer buy any of their products

  1. It is getting very confusing on one page. It says it’s going to continue for 15 seasons and on this page it says it’s going to end in December so what are the fans to think ?I think CBS is just as confused as the rest of us. I don’t know what they are doing. The fans know what they are doing. They are ruining the best show on CBS Friday night. And they don’t have anything even close to comparable to Blue Bloods. CBS well lose a lot of followers on Friday night because we’re loyal to Blue Bloods and won’t watch their replacement because there’s no good replacement. Take one of the crazy shows off like game shows etc. or Survivor, that’s a fake show anyway it can’t be a remote thing trying to survive with the cameras, running all the time, those people are not on their own they are with a camera crew 😡

  2. Blue Bloods is probably the only show I watch on CBS. If it is cancelled I’ll definitely stop watching CBS altogether!
    .

  3. I am really discussed with CBS!!! Thousands of people have requested you not cancel the show. I do not understand the cancellation of a good show that fans want and watch every week. I really thought you cared what fans and viewers want to see. I am disappointed and saddened all our pleas did not make a difference. So very Sad!!!!

  4. We fans continue to hope for Blue Bloods to remain a couple more seasons. There are so many shows on TV now yet are ridiculous and not funny at all. do we hold her folks that enjoy good wholesome shows that you don’t have to worry about your kids watching or your grandkids in my case. We like intelligent believable stories that make you feel good at the end and have a good morals and ethics in the characters. There is not enough of that anymore, Blue Bloods has all of that and that’s why it’s number one on Friday night. Please reconsider before all the characters are lost and the actors have moved onto something else and then you regret it .please think again and don’t put on another show. That’s not gonna be any good and you end up having to cancel it before it has a run.

  5. Amy wake up you are killing cbs! Blue bloods best show! Please look at the comments renew or the should move to fox or abc!
