We can only speculate on what happens to Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) in the NCIS Season 20 finale on May 22.
We’d like to say he’s undercover, but as executive producer Steven D. Binder explained, “we don’t necessarily know what shape Torres will take in prison.” [He] can be a little rash and do things that aren’t always appropriate for an agent with consequences.”
We do know that he is imprisoned while the team is attempting to prevent a terrorist att4ck on US soil in “Black Sky.” In addition to the first look, which we previously revealed exclusively, CBS has released additional photos from the episode. Parker (Gary Cole) visits Torres in prison, Ducky (David McCallum) returns for a video chat with the team — “Some of his history will help,” Binder says — and some fun behind-the-scenes images are among them.
“[Torres’] prison experience is going to bring up a lot of demons from his past,” says finale co-writer David J. North. “With the emotional baggage that he’s carried dating back to before he even joined the show when he was constantly doing deep undercover work and his problems with alcohol, his journey in prison will be very emotionally taxing for him.”
