NCIS LA fans love to find out more about the cast behind the cr1me series. But are any of the stars dating each other?
NCIS Los Angeles season 12 will start very soon on CBS as the beloved stars of the show return. Ahead of the new series being released, some fans are eager to know more about the cast and their relationships outside of the series – here’s what you need to know about this.
Are any of the NCIS Los Angeles stars dating each other?
NCIS Los Angeles has featured several romantic storylines over the years.
This has included the romance between Kensi Byle (played by Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) which began in season one.
Fans have followed them as they got married and now have even started discussing having a family together.
Another major romantic storyline emerged between Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith) and Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) who slowly fell in love over the seasons.
Last viewers knew the pair were living together while Nell dealt with her feelings about remaining on the NCIS team.
There are also those who have been less lucky in love like Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) who sadly lost his wife in the show.
G Callen (Chris O’Donnell) on the other hand, has had his fair share of short-lived romances in the series.
As a result of all of this, many viewers will be keen to know if any of the relationships continue off-screen as well.
Currently, it seems like none of the stars are dating or have ever been together outside of the show.
However, Kensi star Byle and Deeks star Olsen are actually family in real life.
This is because Byle is married to Olsen’s brother David Paul Olsen.
The pair met after Olsen helped set them up when David was working as a stunt double on the show.
Speaking about this, the actor told The Queen Latifah Show: “Daniela was dating this guy that was awful and David was dating this girl that was awful, and they weren’t being themselves.
“And I got to see Daniela at work and she’s this amazing, wonderful human being and I know my brother, and he’s this amazing, wonderful human being.
“But they weren’t themselves in their relationships. When they got together, because he came on to do stunts, I would say something nice about her to him and then say something to him about her.
“That was enough to kinda get them started in conversation and it became this wonderful relationship.”
Now the couple has been married since 2014 and they have two children together.
Olsen is also happily married to actor Sarah Wright who is known for her role in Parks & Recreation.
Other actors on the show who are married include LL Cool J who has been with his wife Simone Johnson since the 1980s and Chris O’Donnell who married Caroline Fentress in 1997.
Hetty Lange star Linda Hunt is married to psychotherapist Karen Kline and Nell actor Smith is in a long-term relationship with Christopher Gabriel.
However, it seems none of the other stars are dating each other outside of the show.
