The Super Bowl commercials on Sunday offered a lot to viewers. The first was a hint that Ziva David, who departed the cast of “NCIS” in 2013, will return.

Cote de Pablo’s character, Ziva David, was mentioned in a promotional advertisement for the show’s next episode. Fans of the show could be in for a surprise.

Mark Harmon played Gibbs in the advertisement. He grows upset in the video when it is indicated that Ziva is the subject of an investigation. “Don’t tell me about Ziva!” he shrieks.

The episode on February 12 will focus on the team’s search for information about a nine-year-old child they discover.

Anthony DiNozzo, a co-agent, fathered her deceased daughter. Ziva died off-screen, and her remains were never found.

It’s unclear what the connection is between Ziva’s notes and a potential comeback. Fans would be ecstatic if the popular actress made an appearance.

Pauley Perrette is another actress who has quit the “NCIS” series. Perrette was replaced as Abby Sciuto’s forensic specialist after a 15-season stint.
