NCIS has made an announcement about the future episodes of Season 20 – and fans aren’t happy.

Following the 450th episode, which aired on Monday, February 27th, the CBS drama announced a two-week hiatus, which means fans won’t see a new episode until March 13th.

“That’s a wrap on the 450th episode of #NCIS!” the show’s team wrote on its official Twitter account. Don’t worry, we’ll be back with another brand-new episode in two weeks. “See you later!”

Viewers expressed their displeasure in the comments section, with one saying, “Two weeks, really!” and another saying, “Will be watching but every other week is getting old.”

“Yeah, your schedule stinks,” a third person wrote. One episode one week, two weeks later, and two weeks later. “Why I stopped watching on Monday.”

NCIS and its spin-off show NCIS: Hawai’i were both renewed for another season by CBS, with the flagship drama returning for its 21st season and the Hawai’i spin-off returning for its third.

Vanessa Lachey, who lives on the island with her husband and three children, celebrated the news with an Instagram post that included a video montage of clips and pictures taken on set.

“SEASON 3!!!” wrote the Jane Tennant actress in the caption. Thank you for tuning in each week and supporting our show. I can’t wait to return as Jane Tennant with my @ncishawaiicbs…… ohana!.”

Unfortunately, NCIS: Los Angeles will not be returning alongside the other shows, as CBS announced that the spin-off would be ending after 14 seasons, with the final episode set to air on May 14, this year.

In response to the news, show star Eric Christian Olsen posted a photo of one of his cast members walking through a dramatic-looking tunnel with the caption, “What a spectacular journey we all shared.”

  1. Well “diehard” fans, be thankful there is another season. Ducky’s rapid leave makes things a little tough. Casts and crews are families. Give them space to re-group and live to crime-fight another day.
