Animals are intelligent and sensitive beings, they have their own unique personality, the capacity to feel pain, suffer, empathy, happiness and joy, thus they often help each other.

Why do animals help each other?
In short, for survival. Working together, rather than fighting over resources for example, increases their chances of survival. Mating partners cooperating helps enable their young to reach maturity. Task can also be completed more efficiently.
In social animals, reciprocation plays a large part, the principle of ‘you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours’ (some cases quite literally).

We have so much to learn from the animals.
